You're Beautiful landed her first metropolitan win at Sandown Wednesday over the 1400m and under the guidance of Nathan Rose.
Freedman removed the blinkers but added winkers to the filly's gear which stable manager Sam Pritchard-Gordon said helped the daughter of Fastnet Rock travel better in the race.
"She just travelled that little bit kinder which helped her enormously," Pritchard-Gordon said. "She was able to conserve energy which she needed at the end of the race."
You're Beautiful sat on the outside of the early leader By The Ears for most of the race before being left in front with 300 metres to go and holding off the the Danny O'Brien-trained filly Hostage To Fortune.
Freedman also prepared the third horse, Fearless Babe who ran a very creditable third and off that performance she would ought to be going close to winning a similar event this time in.
Bred by John Muir of Milburn Creek Thoroughbreds and sold by Chloe and Rhys Smith's Kulani Park at the Magic Millions Sales, You're Beautiful is the first foal of stakes-placed Canny Lad mare Canny Princess and carries an unusual double cross of champion sire Danehill as her grand-dam Kailey Princess is by the legendary son of Danzig.
You're Beautiful is one of 24 winners for Fastnet Rock this season, the Group One winning son of Danehill leading his second season peers for individual winners.
