Ridden by Wayne Hokai in the 900m event at Bendigo, the Freedman trained galloper calmly stalked the heavily back Hayes's galloper Happy Knockout in the first 1/2 mile. However, when asked to quicken the "Freedman polish" shone brightly as she smartly worked past the leader to win the event in 51.80 sec and a comfortable two lengths
"She has shown a bit at home and although she is not in our top echelon of youngsters, she is clearly progressive." Said Anthony Freedman "I'll keep an eye on her over the coming week, but it would be ideal if I could get her to sneak some black type in the Ottawa Stakes at Flemington on Cup day."
To put it into perspective, she was a NZ $700,000 yearling and her mother was placed in the Group 1 Ascot Vale Stakes and the winner of the Group 3 Mannerism. Furthermore, she a grand daughter ofProcrastinate and the dam is a half to Foreplay and the incredibly exciting TIME THIEF . . .
