Do You Want To Feel Like Dwayne Did on Nadeem?

8th January, 2010

Dwayne Dunn & Nadeem (Photo by Mark Dadswell) smashed future Champions and Cox Plate winners in the '06 Blue Diamond and Lee Freedman hasn't been shy in hiding his admiration for the stallion by purchasing Lot 232 at the Magic Millions Sales on the Gold Coast.

Lot 232 is not only an imposing stamp of a horse whose price tag reflects an animal that will easily mould into a contender for next years proposed richest race in the world at US $10 million dollars, but he has also has the approval of the Freedman Stable Jockey Dwayne Dunn who rode his father (Nadeem);

"I told Lee that Nadeem was the most talented horse I ever rode" Said Dwayne after landing a double at Seymour on Thursday "And that if there was going to be any sire that would really thrive as a sire of 2 year olds it was going to be him."

"Don't forget that I beat the future champion Miss Finland by 3 lengths and the Cox Plate winner was well back in third!"

Lot 232 cost $130,000 and with no client driving the bidding, it must be recognised that the Hall of Fame trainer has put his neck on the line in selecting this colt and the opportunity to get involved in this colt is now available to you.

"I know the family like the back of my hand" Said Lee Freedman "I trained Scenic Warrior who is closely related to this colt and I can whole heartedly say that there have been few horses that have matched him for ability."

"Furthermore I thought this fella was very much in the mould of a Danehill line horse...........that is to say I followed his temperement closely leading into the sale and the bright lights and noise didn't phase him. He stood tall throughout the whole thing and there wouldn't have been a better looking horse on the sale ground."

Needless to say Flying Spur and Danzero would have also have done the same thing; both sons of Danehill, both trained by Lee Freedman, both winning the Golden Slipper and both now Champion Sires!
